Eza Neza is a Rwandan company whose vision is to promote urban farming using innovative hydroponics solution to produce food crops while conserving scarce resources such a water and land.
Our innovative solution to the pressing need of food security is the implementation of greenhouse technology & hydroponics growing to urban and per urban agriculture in Rwanda.
Eza Neza Signifies “cultivate well “in Kinyarwanda; a fitting name for this project because we will employ 80% less water, 80% less land and produces 30% more yield compared to conventional farming methods.
About the Company
Based in Kigali, Rwanda, Eza Neza was founded by a group of young Rwandan entrepreneurs: with an ICT background who are willing to bring the kind of technological innovation necessary to disrupt the agricultural sector and provide solutions to its biggest challenges. Eza employs an innovative soil-less indoor farming hydroponics solution that addresses a pressing need of food security in the country. We have partnered with export food distribution companies and local supermarket to produce fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, and greens.

99% of cultivation is open field & is not done optimally for ex-tomato yields per
plant are on average 5kg/sqm as a comparison indoor that have yields from 30kg-50kg/sqm

Hydroponics which involves a soil-less cultivation method ensures an adequate supply of quality controlled nutrients resulting in faster harvest & bigger yields.
