Eza Neza means “Cultivate Well.”
An agriculture pioneer in Rwanda, Eza Neza combines hydroponic and vertical greenhouse farming to grow our flagship strawberries year-round, and freeze-dries the harvest to preserve it for many months longer.
Today we grow and deliver fresh fruits and vegetables, freeze-dried snacks and powders, and the vertical growing systems that make it all possible.
Climate-smart agriculture
Faster & higher yields
Less water & land usage
Year-round crop production
Bringing productivity, preserving nutrition, empowering farmers, and feeding the future.
We envision Rwanda as a food-sovereign nation with a thriving agricultural sector, built on modern, sustainable and efficient farming.
Quality and consistency, whatever the season
Greenhouse grown
Growing in a controlled greenhouse environment makes us less dependent on weather, with far more protection for the crop.
Hydroponics
Our soilless hydroponic system uses up to 80% less water than conventional farming, prevents soil-borne disease, and lets us grow year-round.
Freeze-drying
Our conservation method for the dried fruit line, retaining flavour and up to 97% of nutrition.
Vertical farming
Vertical systems conserve space and land, growing efficiently in a fraction of the footprint conventional farming needs.
Preserving the food is only half the job
A ripe harvest doesn’t stay ripe for long. Most preservation methods keep the food, but let its nutrition quietly slip away. We believe fresh doesn’t have to mean fleeting.
That’s why we freeze-dry, locking in flavour, colour and nutrients at their peak, so what we grow stays just as good long after it’s picked.
of all food produced in Africa is lost to post-harvest spoilage
of nutrients destroyed when food is preserved with sun or hot-air drying
We work alongside organisations advancing sustainable agriculture and horticulture across Rwanda and the region.
